An Electronic Materials Recycler and RMA worked together to prepare an Environmental Compliance Plan that outlined standard operating procedures for recycling materials. The recycled materials included used batteries, lamps, mercury containing equipment, cathode ray tubes, circuit boards and toner/printer cartridges. The plan addressed identification and handling of potentially regulated materials, management of regulated wastes generated in the handling of potentially regulated materials, documentation for handling and management of potentially regulated materials and compliance training for employees who handle potentially regulated materials.
A Food Manufacturer and RMA worked together to prepare the facility's Risk Management Plan (RMP) and revise the Process Safety Management (PSM) Plan. Both plans were combined into one document since training and inspections serve to meet the requirements for both programs. The document included Employee Participation, Process Safety Information, Process Hazard Analysis, Operating Procedures, Training, Contractor Safety, Pre-Startup Safety Review, Mechanical Integrity, Hotwork Permit, Management of Change, Incident Investigation, Emergency Planning & Response and Compliance Audits.
