A food manufacturer and RMA worked together to evaluate the manufacturers' operations in several environmental areas resulting in reports listing a summary of recommendations. The environmental areas evaluated were the waste treatment system and facility environmental compliance. The waste treatment system evaluation provided a summary of recommendations related to sanitary wastewater, stormwater and process wastewater. The environmental compliance audit assessed operations with respect to: Air, Wastewater discharge, Stormwater, Hazardous/Universal waste, Used oil, Spill prevention and control, SARA Tier II reporting, Solid waste, Environmental impacts and records.
An equipment manufacturer and RMA worked together to create a sampling and testing program for industrial hygiene monitoring and metals monitoring. Several sample categories were collected and shipped to a laboratory for analysis and analytical results provided in written tabular format for evaluation by the manufacturer and RMA. Some of the specific constituents analyzed were: triethylamine, respiratory dust, silica, isopropyl alcohol, bismuth, copper, lead, nickel, tin and zinc. Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) sampling and analysis was also performed. Analytical results were prepared in a summary of findings that included recommendations.
