An Industrial Chemical Plant and RMA worked together to prepare the facility's Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for compliance with the State general permit. RMA performed site inspections and met with facility staff to understand the existing storm water system and identify specific deficiencies associated with the SWPPP criteria. The SWPPP included the facility description, contact information, potential pollutant sources, storm water control measures, schedule and procedures for monitoring, inspections, recordkeeping and reporting and a list of required quarterly and annual compliance activities in accordance with the Georgia EPD General Permit No. GAR050000.
A Poultry Processing Company and RMA worked together to identify and evaluate proposed stormwater improvements to improve water quality of the facility's stormwater runoff. RMA prepared a Stormwater Management Report utilizing Hydraflow modeling software and engineering methods to analyze the existing conditions, design the proposed improvements and analyze the proposed improvements. The proposed improvements included an additional storm pipe outlet that discharged into the GDOT ROW upstream of the current site outfall. The total discharge of the facility runoff into the GDOT ROW remained the same as the existing conditions.
