LDP, COE and FEMA

A key milestone in the development process is obtaining the Land Disturbance Permit (LDP) and may, by default, become one of the critical path items. RMA engineers plan the work far in advance in order to reduce the schedule impacts to the project. Often Corps of Engineers (COE) reviews and permitting are unavoidably long.

Many projects require input or approval from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Once again this is an area where reviews often impact the construction. Our Project Managers endeavor to ask these questions early in the process and use previous experience to ensure that all possible delays are considered and minimized. This can require working in a non-typical fashion, in order to serve our clients.
